86-yr-old man arrested for sexually assaulting 13-yr-old girl

An 86-year-old North Carolina man, Alfred Edward Payne, had been arrested and charged on a two count charge of sexual assault and rape after it was revealed that he took indecent liberties with a child, reports Daily Mail.

The Gaston County Sheriff office states that the 86 year old pervert lived near the girl and her family and took the advantage of being close to the family to have sexual affiliations with her.

Authorities told the Gaston Gazette that the incident occurred in the month of February and March at an apartment complex.

Payne was able to post a $100,000 secured bond the same day of his arrest, records show.
