The Phobians have empowered Kim Grant as the director of football as well as first team coach to end months of search for a substantive coach.

It has been reported that Kim Grant has forbidden his players from engaging in five acts as he aims at restoring glorying the Phobian glory.

The highlight of the reported five-pointer cautions tabled down for the playing body of Accra Hearts of Oak are that they should stay away from sex after midnight and avoid having daft haircut.

Below are the five things Kim Grant has banned his players from engaging in:

1 . Junk food is strictly off limits in the players' canteen, too.

2. Sex: Kim's first rules was to ban his players from having sex after midnight … although how he polices the ban is not clear!

3. Fruit juice: One of the stranger bans, as fruit juice was for years seen as a healthy alternative to fizzy drinks or alcohol, which are banned as a matter of course. Now it is seen as being stacked with sugar and lacking the fibre of fresh fruit.

4. Family breakfasts : Kim Grant  wants his players to eat together as much as possible, so players are expected to gather for breakfast before they train every morning – just another way of ensuring they are getting their diets right.

5. 'Daft haircuts' :  This one is only a rumour, but Grant is known to disapprove of players who cultivate an image apart from his teammates

The former technical director of Ebusua Dwarfs and Elmina Sharks started the Hearts of Oak coach job on 1 December.

Hearts of Oak are without a major trophy since they last won the Ghana Premier League in the 2008-09 season- the longest trophy drought in the club’s history.
