After losing their opening match to the Sharks, Griquas have responded with four wins in succession and their latest triumph was a comfortable one.

Swart was one of five Griquas try-scorers in Kimberley on Thursday, while Elgar Watts crossed twice.

Boland did manage three tries of their own in the second half, having trailed 25-3 at the interval, but the visitors never threatened to get back into the match.

Griquas now sit just one point behind the Sharks at the top of the Premier Division standings, while Boland remain seventh.
