UPI.com reported the Vancouver police as saying that an employee of the Goodwill store was sorting out donations received, only to chance upon the box and when examined it contained cremated body parts.
A photo of the said box released by the Evidence Unit of the police department shows it bearing the name, "Michelle Miller."
Investigators reportedly claim the donation must have been done ‘mistakenly’, and are depending on the public for information about the cremated person or relations of the name embossed on the box for a possible handing over.
