Nyantakyi on Friday got elected onto the FIFA Executive Council after he polled 31 to finish second and picked one of CAF's two remaining slots on the council.

He landed Accra aboard the Emirates Airlines and was cheered by several people on his arrival.

There was a durbar at the secretariat of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in Accra to welcome him and also gave him the opportunity to share his experience during and after the election.

Kwesi Nyantakyi also expressed his appreciation to all Ghanaians for their support.
