Traders count losses after Kumasi Central Market fire

Traders at the Kumasi Central Market whose goods were destroyed by Wednesday night’s fire outbreak have been counting their losses.

Fire swept through parts of the sprawling market last Wednesday night, destroying large quantities of goods.

The section of the Kumasi Central Market currently being engulfed by the fire is where yams, live birds, shea butter and other miscellaneous items are sold.
