Black Stars team B put up a spirited performance to earn a 2-1 victory against Gambia in a friendly tie at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, Accra on Wednesday.

Thomas Abbey, who came on for Richmond Lamptey broke the deadlock of the game with a nice volley after he was located by Aduana Stars left winger, Zakaria Mumuni

Before Lamin Jalo put the Gambians on level pegging in the 74th minute.

But Ghana were awarded a penalty kick after Joseph Paintsil was brought down following a through ball from Majeed Ashmimeru and goalkeeper,  Razak Abalorah stepped up to displace the Gambian goalkeeper in what became the match winner.
