The MCE for the Effutu Municipality has died after a mild stroke.

The Effutu Municipal Chief Executive in the Central Regional, Nii Ephraim, has passed away at dawn on Monday.

The MCE died at the Otoo Memorial Hospital in Winneba after suffering a mild stroke two weeks ago.
He was appointed as the MCE in 2009 by late President Mills and retained in June 2013 by President John Mahama.
