Real Madrid star involved in a car crash

Reports indicate that Real Madrid star Karim Benzema suffered a car crash near Madrid airport on Friday.

The accident took place on the M-13 road close to Madrid's Barajas Airport on Friday evening.

According to Goal, Benzema's vehicle was hit from behind by another car, with no fault attached to the forward and no injuries suffered.

Local police were called to the scene, where they observed damage to both vehicles.

Benzema and the unidentified driver were given breathalyser tests, which both came up negative.

The Frenchman is currently unavailable for Madrid, as he recovers from a muscle injury unrelated to the events of Friday.
