Sarkodie named as Yaer Of Return Ambassador

Sarkodie has lauded the “Year of Return” initiative by the Ghanaian government.

According to the Ghanaian rapper, who has been made an ambassador for the campaign after his BET Hip Hop Awards speech, he believes that the initiative is one of the best that has happened to “Black people”.

In an interview seen by pulse.com.gh, he said “I think it’s a good year for black people and I kinda felt it that’s why my project is called “Black Love” just to bring awareness to black people” he said

Sarkodie who has hit song titled “Year of Return” added that “So I think it was a good initiative to bring all these people who have never been here before to come back home, reconnect and see how we celebrate them”.
