Scans on injured jaw inconclusive, says Reynolds
There are fears Reynolds suffered a broken jaw for the second time this season, after he was hit by Adam Blair during the Rabbitohs' 30-8 NRL loss to Brisbane Broncos on Friday.
Blair was handed a one-week ban for his late shot on Reynolds. However, Reynolds will have to wait another 24 hours to discover whether he has re-broken his jaw.
"I've had scans and it just shows what’s previously been there," Reynolds told foxsports.com.au on Monday.
"You can't tell if it's old or new. It definitely feels a lot better than it did the first time around.
"We're sitting down with the specialist over the next night or two and we'll see what his plans are and go from there."
Reynolds was also charged by the NRL on Monday after the 25-year-old made contact with a match official against the Broncos.
He will not miss a game with an early guilty plea.
