A movie about the scandal-hit world governing body of football has flopped in the cinema, making less than £500 during its first opening two days.

Actor Tim Roth plays outgoing FIFA President, Sepp Blatter in the 2014 film, titled 'United Passions' which was released in the US on Friday, June 5.

The film which is about the 111-year-old history of FIFA however was disastrous as only two people showed up to watch the first screening in Los Angeles.

Critics described the 110-film as a 'pure cinematic excrement' and 'one of the most unwatchable films in recent memory'.

The 110-minute film was watched by just two people during its first screening in Los Angeles.

FIFA was one of the main financial backers of the  film, allegedly paying £19million to support the filmmakers.
