Andre Ayew and his team mates are still in the dark over who will take over as boss at the Liberty Stadium after Gary Monk was sacked last week.

The Welsh club has had to endure a poor season with no win in 12 top flight games, a record that accounted for Monk’s departure.

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has stepped up his search for a new manager and has flown to South America to hold talks with Argentine coach Marcelo Bielsa high up on Jenkin’s shortlist.

The English Premier League club has also been linked with a return for former manager Brendan Rodgers as former Manchester United boss David Moyes is also in the loop to coach Andre Ayew at Swansea City.
