Bawumia off to Mauritius
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has left the shores of Ghana to attend the National Day Celebrations of the Republic of Mauritius, as the Special Guest.
Dr Bawumia, whiles in Mauritius, would hold bilateral talks with Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, President of Mauritius, Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Prime Minister and other senior government officials.
A statement from the Flagstaff House said he will also attend a Breakfast Business Meeting hosted by the Mauritian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, in collaboration with the Board of Investment.
The vice president would be accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Minister of Communications Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Minister of Business Development Ibrahim Awal, Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Investment Promotion Centre Reginald Grant and other government officials.
Dr. Bawumia returns to Accra on Monday, March 13, 2017.
