With its lacy straps, intricate bodice detailing and beautiful frills and ruffles, this wedding dress looks like a gown fit for any bride on her big day.

Elba  and her creative team, Yvette Marner, founder of Fun N Funky Cakes, and artist Ilinka Rnic worked on the edible cake for more than 300 hours to complete.

It features 35kg of fondant plus 15,000 ruffles made from sheets of wafer paper.  Even the pretty silver beads sewn onto the bodice are edible.

The cake was created for the Cake International show, which takes  place in London this weekend.
