The victim, who was tied to an electric pole with blood stains on his body, is believed to be a victim of a mob attack.

Some traders in the area told Accra-based Class FM that the victim might have been lynched during Wednesday night’s heavy downpour over suspicion of theft.

Police in Suame have since deposited the body of the victim at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) morgue.

The Suame District Police Commander Superintendent Jude Cobbinah said police have begun investigations into the matter.
