The former AC Milan has been suspended by a Disciplinary Committee decision from Saudi football authorities over his actions in the game against Al Wahda in the Crown Prince Cup [Saudi Champions Cup].

The Ghana international physically attacked an Al Wahda player, hitting the player to the ground but went on to play in the entire duration of the game.

The incident received a lot of criticism post-game and a Disciplinary Committee handed the player a two-game ban after the match-day referee refused to send Muntari off for his actions.

Sulley Muntari is currently suspended from the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars after allegedly attacking a member of the management team during the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil.

The player was also picture in an attack on a player during Ghana’s game against United Stars of America in the 2014 World Cup.
