Wigan Warriors moved level on points with Super League leaders Hull after a resounding 26-6 win at Catalans Dragons.

First-half tries from Dan Sarginson, Ryan Sutton and Oliver Gildart provided the platform for what was the visitors' seventh consecutive victory in all competitions.

And although Justin Horo gave the hosts hope by finding the line early in the second half, Dom Manfredi's 57th-minute effort effectively snuffed out any possibility of a comeback.

The defeat was the Dragons' third at home in the league this season and took the edge off their 10-year anniversary celebrations, which had drawn a bumper crowd to Stade Gilbert Brutus.

But it provided sweet revenge for Shaun Wane's men, who were hammered 58-16 in last year's corresponding fixture.

Matty Smith landed five successful kicks from five attempts for the Warriors, who return to action next Friday when mid-table Wakefield will provide the opposition at the DW Stadium.
