Arizona Cardinals president Michael Bidwill envisions a future in which NFL games can be seen globally in far greater numbers.

That means digital distribution beyond current TV outlets.

"There's no doubt it’s coming," Bidwill told Pro Football Talk on Wednesday. "The question is how we transition into it. What we need to do is do a great job of listening to our fans about how they want to consume NFL content.

"Our fans are switching to digital, they’re switching to handheld and mobile devices, and we want to respond to that."

This week will see the debut of 'All or Nothing: A Season With the Arizona Cardinals' on Amazon Prime.

Meanwhile, Twitter will stream 10 Thursday night NFL games this season as further indication of the league's overall digital focus.
