Teenager causes change just by showing love

A 16 year old girl’s show of love, caused a community in Oregon, United State to rally support for the gay community.

Makaila Ragan took a daring stand, when she chose to go against two street preachers who were condemning gay people.

She said “I was so irritated because I see them all around town and all they ever do is make people feel like crap about themselves.”

This little move, inspired more people in the community, especially Julie McNutt, who quickly setup a Facebook page called Tillamook For Love.

McNutt, the creator of the Facebook group, said  'I think it's important for young people, especially in the community who may not be out or who are possibly questioning their sexuality to not feel like that is what people here feel, and to not be afraid to be who they are.'

Adding that group is making a positive impact.
