Anthony Karbo wins Lawra NPP Primaries

Former National Youth Organiser of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Anthony Abayifaa Karbo has won the Lawra Constituency primaries of the NPP with 335 votes.

He beat his contender, Joseph Beyiso who pulled 63 votes.

Other candidates who have won their respective constituencies include Atta Akyea, George Andah, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu and Patricia Appiagyei.

The NPP is electing parliamentary candidates for the 2016 elections.
