Promising midfielder, <strong>Thomas Partey</strong> has landed a new five-year deal off the back of his impressive AFCON 2017 performance.

Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has signed a contract extension at Atletico Madrid. The deal will keep him at the Calderon till 2022.

The 23-year-old joined the Madrid-based side in 2011 and spent two seasons away on loan at Mallorca and Almeria before finally getting his big break in November 2015.
"I am very happy with my new contract and grateful for the faith shown in me," Partey said after signing.

"I have always been very fond of this club and I want to keep on developing at Atletico. I will give everything for this club."
Thomas Partey was an integral part of the Ghana team that finished fourth at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
