Racing had fought back from 11 points down to edge Grenoble 39-35 in Saturday's thriller, but Toulon were far more comfortable against the division's second-bottom side.

Mathieu Bastareaud touched down within five minutes to set the tone, with scrum-half Jonathan Pelissie converting that score before adding the extras to a try of his own midway through the period.

Pelissie ended the game with 21 points, while Toulon's star turns Bryan Habana and Ma'a Nonu got in on the act with second-half scores – the latter with his first try for his new side.

Soane Tonga'uiha scored a consolation try for Oyonnax, who have won just three of their 14 matches.

A bonus-point victory moves Toulon into second, within two points of Racing, although they have played a game more. Oyonnax are 10 points from safety in the drop zone.
