Toulon scrum-half Sebastien Tillous-Borde is set to undergo surgery on a knee injury that will rule him out of action for two months.

Tillous-Borde took a blow to the knee during the 19-14 win at Bath in the Champions Cup on Saturday.

When asked about the extent of the injury by Omnisport, Toulon confirmed the France international will require an operation and is expected to remain on the sidelines for two months.

Tillous-Borde has represented France on 19 occasions but was not included in Guy Noves' 31-man squad for the Six Nations, which begins next month.

Following surgery, the 30-year-old may face a race against time in order to be fit for the Champions Cup quarter-final against Racing 92 in April.
