Isaac Twum was skipper of the Black Stars B side that annexed the WAFU Cup of Nations which run from the 9th to 24th of September, 2017.

Twum as a defensive midfielder has put up some impressive performances at his club side Inter Allies over the years and that has replicated in the WAFU tournament.

The performance of Twum in the WAFU tournament has caught the eye of the Norwegian scouts who came to watch the tournament.

Twum featured in all 5 games for Ghana in the WAFU Cup of Nations has been a mainstay in the Inter Allies setup.
