Sekondi Hasaacas midfielder Saliw Babao has joined Belarusian side Dynamo Brest, the club has confirmed.
Babao put pen to paper on a three-year deal on Monday after winning the hearts of Dynamo Brest’s technical handlers following his exploits in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League.
The Belarusian top-flight side confirmed Babao’s capture via their official website.
“17-year-old Ghanaian midfielder became the fourth player to join Brest in the winter transfer window. The agreement with the player is designed for three years,” said the statement.
"Saliw Babao born March 3, 1999. Last season he played in the Ghana Premier League for Sekondi Hasaacas, where he featured in 22 games and scored 3 goals. Babao gained a call up to the youth national team of Ghana (U20)," the statement added.
Babao will join his new teammates for the 2017 season when he turns 18 on 03 March this year.
