Mr Eazi took to Twitter yesterday to say: "Ghana's influence on present day "Naija Sound" cannot be over emphasized!!!"

Nigerians on Twitter didn't take it lightly so they went in for him and heavily trolled him on the micro-blogging for more than 24 hours.

Reacting to Eazi's statement, Ko-Jo Cue of BBnZ Live record label tweeted: "@mreazi getting lynched for stating a fact. Where is the Ghana-Naija tension from? Shouldn't it be an honour that we influence each other?"

M.anifest also supported it saying: "An opinion being unpopular doesn't make it false."
