IPP to give unemployed youth GHc100 monthly
The Independent People’s Party (IPP) has promised to set up a “Job Fund” to help tackle the nation’s growing unemployment if given the mandate to govern.
Leader of the party, Mr. Kofi Akpaloo, said his party would focus more energy and efforts on creating jobs to transform the lives of the people.
According to him, an IPP government will give unemployment benefits to the people, as part of a social intervention to make things better for them.
He promised to also invest adequate funds in sports development and said that had the potential to generate jobs.
In pursuit of this, five modern stadia would be built in Brong-Ahafo, Eastern, Volta,Upper East and Upper West Regions.
He said it would additionally, encourage the youth to engage in online businesses to help increase Ghana’s share of the global market.
Mr. Akpaloo again pledged to revamp and bring efficiency into the postal and courier services.
