Completed before the corruption charges scandal rocked 14 of FIFA officials,  the movie which is about the history of the international soccer authority FIFA, was funded by about £17 million of the body's cash.

Starring Tim Roth as Sepp Blatter, the movie is estimated to have cost about $25m - $32m, with FIFA being a major sponsor.

According to THR, the FilmBar cinema in Phoenix reported takings of just $9.

The above report means only one person purchased a ticket.
