Canterbury Bulldogs centre Chase Stanley will miss the rest of the NRL season due to a knee injury.

Stanley has endured an unlucky run with injuries and that continued in the Bulldogs' win over the Wests Tigers on Saturday.

The 27-year-old tore his anterior cruciate ligament and needs surgery, ruling him out for the rest of the campaign.

Stanley has previously undergone shoulder operations and a knee reconstruction among other injuries.

The Bulldogs won the clash 32-22 and sit fourth in the NRL.
