Video: Chief Imam prays for Hearts of Oak ahead of Sunday's Ghana Premier League games

The playing body of Accra Hearts of Oak have been offered prayers by the Chief Imam Dr Shiekh Osmanu Sharubutu ahead of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League which kicks off this weekend.

The Muslim players and management members were at the Central Mosque in Abossey Okai, Accra for the Friday's congregational prayer known as Jummah.

Chief Imam Dr Shiekh Osmanu Sharubutu said special supplications for the playing team as they embark on a journey to end their ten-year trophy drought.

Hearts of Oak will take on Berekum Chelsea on Sunday as the Ghana Premier League kicks off.
