Ghana midfielder Michael Essien has been welcomed in Indonesia following his move to Persib Bandung.

The 34-year-old joined the Bandung Tigers on a free transfer confirmed on Tuesday.
Having played for the likes of Bastia, Chelsea, Real Madrid, AC Milan and panathinaikos, this will be Essien's first club in Asia.
He will wear the number 5 shirt at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium.

Persib Bandung last won the Indonesia League title in 2014.
