A Papa Arko wonder strike secured a point for Liberty Professional as they fought back to draw 1-1 with Elmina Sharks in week 9 of the Ghana Premier League at the Dr. Ndoum Sports complex on Saturday.

The veteran striker equalised for the Dansoman-based club after he struck a long range effort in the 77th to level the scores for the away side.

Wing wizard Benjamin Tweneboah opened the scoring for Elmina Sharks in the first six minutes of the encounter,  as he coolly slotted the ball past Liberty goalkeeper Emmanuel Anim, after some poor defensive marking by the away side defence.

But the match was plagued with huge controversy after referee Ernest Baafi denied Liberty Professionals what looked like a clear penalty.

An Elmina Sharks defender's sliding challenge on Liberty's Prosper Avor was gone unnoticed by the both the referee and his assistane, Frank Bossman.
