Watch how women, children escaped as military bombed Sambisa Forest

The footage shows how women and children who were under the captivity of Boko Haram ran for their lives shortly after the Nigerian military launched aerial bombardment on Sambisa Forest, the known stronghold of the sect.

The militants also fled their base in the forest.

The footage was release by the Nigerian Army, who have rescued more than 300 women and children from Sambisa Forest since the onslaught on the forest began.
