Wests Tigers hooker Robbie Farah will miss up to six weeks due to a knee injury suffered in a trial match on Saturday.

Farah, 32, hurt his knee in the second half of his team's 30-30 draw against the Cronulla Sharks.

The club's physio, Peter Moussa, confirmed on Tuesday that the veteran would be sidelined for at least a month.

"Robbie has had the scans and it's showed a cartilage tear in the outside of the knee," he said.

"He's seeing the specialist and will have the arthriscope today.

"He'll probably be out for about 4-6 weeks."
