Why you should visit Germany this September (WATCH)
While Germans are renowned as a generally straight-laced and principled people, this does not stop the country from having several offerings by way of tourism.
From the wide, often times no speedlimit autobhans (highways) to the underground bars and breathtaking views, Germany rivals any of its European neighbour tourist havens with activities and tourist trappings.
But what's really special about Germany in September? The very wild and interesting Oktoberfest, the world's largest beer festival and travelling funfair which runs for 16 days (between September 19th to October 4th this year).
Each year, this festival attracts millions of people from around the world who troop to Munich, Bavaria where it's held, to party and chuck down a significant amount of beer.
