The day has traditionally been reserved for rest, but the organisers have now announced that, due to bad weather this week, there will be matches played in attempt to make up for lost time.

In the tournament's 139 years, the middle Sunday has only previously been used to fulfil the schedule in 1991, 1997 and 2004.

Further details will be announced at 1pm on Saturday, though it has already been confirmed that all tickets must be pre-ordered online.
