President John Mahama and his family are in his hometown, Bole, in the Northern region for the Christmas holiday.

Accompanied by his wife, Lordina, and the children, President Mahama spent both Christmas and Boxing Day with his kinsmen and town folks.

President Mahama has sent his final Christmas message to Ghanaians from the Flagstaff House, hailing the values of Ghanaians.

He will hand over power on January 7. He has however, urged Ghanaians to use the season to count their numerous blessings over the years.

He also urged drivers across the country to drive cautiously during the festive season.
