• Asamoah Gyan

The Captain of Ghana’s Senior National Team Asamoah Gyan established two enterprises which took Ghana by storm. The first one was the Baby Jet Airlines. The Ghanaian Striker obtained a license to deal in cargo at the start of his operations.

The other business which came a few days after was that of the sachet water business. The name of the water was “Paradise Pack Ice Water”. Asamoah Gyan is on record to have close to 10 businesses.

The ex-Ghana international Derrick Boateng has put up a plush five-star hotel in Accra.

The luxurious facility is named Mendieta Hotel, which was coined from the first names of his three daughters – Mendy, Taisha and Terick.

The Mendieta Hotel is located near the Golf Park, Achimota in Accra, and has a wide range of facilities including gyms, pools and grass effect carpets.

After leaving her 5-year job in the banking field to become a full-time model she set up VM consult to provide training for management and communication practitioners.

The baby mama of dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, opened a pub called 'Diamond's Pub & Grill'.

The pub is located at East Legon in Accra.

• Too Sweet Annan

The actor who is described as a lady’s man said in April 2017 that he set up a pub because Ghanaians like to drink a lot.

He justified his business saying he was only making money as an entrepreneur.
