Wizkid after his controversial interview with DJ Semtex, stops by at BBCRadio 1 xtra with presenter Ace.
He talks about his journey so far, says he doesnât feel like heâs achieved anything yet.
On whether he feels pressured by younger artists coming up, Wizkid said what he does rather is to support those artists by jumping on remixes and advance African music to the world.
About the ongoing discussion on Drake ââstealingâ from other peopleâs culture to make music. Wizkid defends the Canadian superstar saying he is a true artist, Â âEvery smart artist knows that you need to collaborate,â he added.
Wiz describes his performance on stage as spiritual, that he gives it all when he mounts on that stage, and those are his true moments.
Speaking on his forthcoming album âSounds From The Other Sideâ(SFTOS), he refused to reveal too much about it except naming featured artists and producers he worked with which includes Chris Brown, Diplo, TY Dolla Sign, Sarz, Legendury Beatz, Trey Songz, Drake among others.
On a lighter note, Ace asks Wizkid to pitch his tent between Nigerian jollof rice and Ghanaian jollof rice.
