The event gave a platform to journalists across the nation to interrogate the President on his performance in the first six months of his administration.

While the President highlighted the major achievements of his administration and played down on his lapses, I take a look at some flawed actions and inactions of the president since January.

1. The uncensored statements, baseless accusations and contemptible insults of some big gangs of the New Patriotic party raises eyebrows on the purported “no nonsense personality” of the president.

Under no circumstance should Bugri Naabu’s “Slip of tongue” apology for an accusation be accepted. Such slander is punishable by law. Kennedy Agyepong’s reputation as a brutish speaker for is far too known.

2. The cycle of militant partisanship of incumbent governments has taken an even worse turn another Nana’s regime.

The damage made by the Delta Forces and the Invisible Forces does not ascribe to the peace and security the president promised Ghanaians. It is further saddening to notice that President has not categorically criticized the actions of these groups.

3. Nana Addo’s profession to eradicate this galamsey canker has so far remained lip service and lacking any variable of sustainability.

The government has not planned for the aftermath of these illegal miners post galamsey.

4. It is safe to say that claims of redundancy in the President’s number of Ministers are completely justified.

Some of the Minister have proved their uselessness enough to ascertain their irrelevance. The many deputies all seeming to have one rule, supporting their lead deputies have not proved their worth.
