Parliament’s Appointment Committee vetted Martin Amidu on Tuesday, February 15, 2018.

His vetting lasted for over 7 hours.
After the vetting, members of the general public commended him for his outstanding performance before the committee.
President Nana Addo nominated Martin Amidu to be the first Special Prosecutor in fulfilment of major campaign promise during the 2016 general elections.
