Reports claiming Ghanaians are demanding the return of former President John Mahama has lit up social, after a Nigerian tabloid, Signal, culled the article on it website.

According to the story, thousands of Ghanaian seized the occasion of the funeral of Major Maxwell Adam Mahama who was lynched by a vicious mob to call for the return of Mr Mahama.

Ghanaians who attended the funeral, out of desperation and frustration used the occasion to demand for the return of the former President Mahama, the report said.

Baffled by the report coming from a Nigerian news platform, Ghanaians took to twitter to denounce the article in a show force and sympathy for the Akufo-Addo administration.
