Executive committee accepts calendar for the next three seasons

A calendar for Ghana Football has been setup by the Ghana Football Association to take us through the next three years

The Ghana Football Association Executive Committee has approved a calendar to take effect for the next three seasons.

The calendar includes dates and schedules for the upcoming CAF Inter-Club matches, the Ghana Premier League, the MTN FA Cup, Division One League and GHALCA tournament.

The calendar also highlights international assignments the various national teams are set to partake in for the year 2018 and beyond.

However, it has been indicated by the GFA communication department that the calendar would be updated due to the Confederation of African Football restructuring the time frames for the CAF Inter-Club Competitions.

Also, the domestic women’s and Regional FA Competitions are also set to be included in the calendar later

This gesture will look to be a proactive move to get teams to prevent the perennial predicament of not having a clear timeline for every new season in Ghana Football.

According to the calendar, the Ghana Premier League and the Division One League are set to run from February and end in August, 2018
