Gareth Bale insists Wales are undaunted by the loss of key midfielders Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey for Sunday's home World Cup qualifier against Georgia.

Allen was forced from the field by a hamstring injury during the second half of Thursday's 2-2 draw with Austria in Vienna.

And it was also a hamstring problem, sustained while on club duty for Arsenal, that prevented Ramsey from being included in the squad for the two Group D fixtures. But Bale remains adamant that Chris Coleman's side can cope without the sidelined duo and denied that their absence will pile even more pressure upon him to deliver once again for his country.

"Joe is a massive player for us and he will be very badly missed," he said.

"But as we've always said before, it will give somebody else a chance to come in and have an opportunity to show what they are made of.

"There’s no more focus on me. It's just the same. We are a unit, a team, we keep working together, no matter who is injured.

"Everyone will pull through in the same direction. Someone will come in and do a great job."

David Edwards of Wolves is expected to deputise for Allen having replaced the Stoke City man in Vienna, while Leicester City's Andy King is set to continue to fill in for Ramsey.

Wales will head into the Cardiff City Stadium clash top of the group, having beaten Moldova 4-0 ahead of their draw with Austria.

Georgia, meanwhile, are yet to pick up a point having lost to Austria and the Republic of Ireland.
