Olympics to meet GFA over second court injunction

The Ghana Football Association are set to meet Olympics considering the court injunction placed to prevent the start of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League season.

The country’s football governing body have invited Accra Great Olympics to talk on the issues which led Accra Great Olympics to put the case before the High Court.

Olympics are seeking a case involving Bechem United which was dismissed by the Accra High Court on 21 February, 2018.

According to reports, the judge who presided over the case between Olympics and GFA requested the two parties to settle the case out of court.

On the contrary, the Ghana Football Association went ahead with Congress to declare Accra Great Olympics a relegated club.

The Accra based side then went ahead to place a second injunction on the league which caused for the Ghana Premier League to postpone the league indefinitely.

The Ghana Football Association will be looking to hold talks and settle their differences amicably.
