Five African countries have booked their place in Russia 2018

The countries that have qualified are Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal and Nigeria.

Nigeria are the only nation among the five countries from the African continent that will be in Russia and also had the chance to feature in Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The Pharaohs of Egypt have qualified for the first time since 1990, with Morocco having secured a place in the Mundial for the first time since 1998.

Senegal since their heroic moment in the 2002 World Cup in Korea/Japan will also make appearance in Russia and Tunisia will also make first appearance in 12 years.

The biggest casualties were Ghana and Ivory Coast who had qualified for the past three World Cups, before the 2018 qualifiers.
