Actress and CEO of End Time Films, Emelia Brobbey has revealed that acting in local language movies is far difficult as compared to acting in the English language movies.

Emelia made this revelation on an television show, quoting that many people have the perceptions that Kumawood movie cast do not need scripts before they go on set. Emelia emphasised that, that assumption is not true, they are given script in English language which they learn and act in Twi.

She further added that, Kumawood actors and actresses who can not read and write in English Language have managers who translate the script in Twi for them.

The mother-of-two used the opportunity to thank directors who are readily available to help them with the translation from English to Local language.

Talking about her roles in movies, Emelia said, “Naturally, I’m a soft person, and I think I’ve become used to crying in movies, and more or less movie lovers have associated me with crying because I played crying roles so well".
