The dancehall singer passed away in a horrific motor accident on February 8, 2018. Her friend Franky Kuri and military personnel also died but the driver survived.

Nana Poku Kwarteng, however, believes the former Director-General of the Police Criminal Investigations Department (CID) wasn’t helpful when he needed some answers from the driver.

According to him, he made so much effort in order to reach out to the driver in hopes of finding what transpired on the fateful night but Tiwaa kept turning him down.

He said at some point, he was escorted by Dr Lawrence Tetteh – the founder and President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach – to Tiwaa's office but to his surprise she gave him a shocking response.

“As I speak with you, I haven’t found Ebony Reigns’ driver,” he told Zionfelix in an interview.

He continued: “I visited Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, who was the CID boss at the time, on three occasions. I once went with Dr Lawrence Tetteh."

"But she looked into my face and said ‘the driver also risked his life?’”

February 8, 2020, marks exactly two years since the demise of the “Maame Hw3” hitmaker.

According to her father, he plans to organise another jollof party on her birthday (February 16) in honour of the former RuffTown Records/MidasTouch Inc. signee.
