After wining the PFA Young Player of the year awards, Tottenham striker Harry Kane has been named in the England squad for the European Under 21 Championship.
There have been debate over the inclusion of the striker in the squad after a long season with long season with Tottenham, but coach Gareth Southgate however included him in a 27-man preliminary squad.
Other English Premier League regulars who are in the squad which will later be trimmed to 23 are Arsenal defender, Calum Chambers, Everton centre-back , John Stones and West Brom striker Saido Berahino.
Tottenham's Eric Dier, Arsenal's Carl Jenkinson and Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek are other notable inclusions
Championship player of the Year, Patrick Bamford also makes the squad.
England plays against Portugal on June 18 before taking on Sweden and Italy.
The European Under 21 Championship takes place in the Czech Republic from June 17-30.
